“It’s very clear to me that there was more unity in the Church when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes.” Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco made the remarks in an interview with TribuneChretienne.com on October 8. He said that the radical liturgical changes following Vatican II had damaged, and in some cases even destroyed, Catholics’ faith. 1. The Church has unity. Not "more or less" but unity (of Faith and worship) as the basis/basic characteristics. If there is no such unity, well, you should search for the Church in another place. 2. Strange words. We can talk about our Creator in many different praises: as the Source of life, truth, love, beauty, our reasonable soul and its salvation. But human dignity or "human rights"? God is no suffragist or cheap politician. And He is no humanist either. In his relationship, as the creature, towards God man does not need any human dignity/human rights and cannot claim one (as he is unworthy) unless he wants to claim "non serviam" - just as the ancient serpent. And the State, just as the man, should also serve God which the post-conciliar revolution forgot about. It is the source of things forbidden to the State, killing children included. FSSPX to Continue Lourdes Pilgrimage Despite Bishop’s Restrictions The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. Following the episcopal consecrations on July 1 in Ecône, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes withdrew permission for the SSPX to celebrate public Masses, administer sacraments, or organize public prayers at Lourdes.
