Cardinal Müller Threatens FSSPX with Hell - "Episcopal Ordinations Are Mortal Sin"
Cardinal Gerhard Müller repeated on Herder.de (Communio magazine) his attacks on the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX). Main quotes, shortened for readability.
- The FSSPX elevates its criticism of religious freedom, ecumenism, and interreligious relations to the standard of what is Catholic and demands that the Church admit the Council propagated erroneous and ambiguous teachings.
- Certain formulations of the Second Vatican Council are given doubtful interpretations—for example, that Muslims and Jews worship the one God with us; some see in this a religious-historical relativism. The classical Catholic teaching is overlooked that human reason is capable of recognizing the existence and unity of God.
- In doctrinal matters, these are, in my opinion, pretexts to avoid full submission to the authority of the Pope.
- In my discussions with the FSSPX, I insisted that their criticism would only be justified if the Council had actually taught what they attribute to it.

Known in the military as friendly fire. This is not where the enemy are located.
"Mortal sin." Curious terminology.
They know they can't use it with others, because perhaps those others don't even remember its meaning.
The German Muller is a stereotypical case of diabolical disorientation.
Question: Who is closer to hell? The SSPX with its TLM, or Muller embracing a couple of punk women? (By the way, look at the slobbering expression on his face-he almost looks like a very youthful "Adonis.")
CNC: Dime con quien andas...
I dare say the Church would do well these days to ignore the muddled words of all German Bishops.
"The term “pastoral council” is a journalistic label and dogmatically meaningless"

I agree but goes further: the term "council" with respect to "Vatican II" is dogmatically meaningless.
The Cardinal said that the Council must be accepted in its entirety. Sacrosanctum Concilium is explicit in saying that priests should say their office in Latin. I wonder whether the Cardinal implemented that prescription when he was bishop of Regensburg.
Those who ascribe serious errors in the faith to the legitimate Second Vatican Council are mistaken. Cardinal Mueller.
In many cases they are also called bishops, who are appointed by the pope.
