Oggi è la festa di un santo a cui sono particolarmente legato, san Giuseppe.
Come uomo, cristiano, padre, marito e lavoratore vedo e trovo in questo grande santo il punto di riferimento sicuro per vivere al meglio tutte queste cinque dimensioni della mia persona, e invito tutti voi a fare altrettanto. Da papà, mi commuove profondamente pensare che Gesù Bambino - vero Dio - ha voluto provare la tenerezza di un papà. Se siete padri a vostra volta, vi invito a contemplare profondamente la stessa immagine.
San Giuseppe è un santo oggi tristemente dimenticato, eppure così fondamentale nell'economia della Redenzione.
