These Are the Four Remarkably Young New Bishops of the FSSPX
Today, Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, announced the names of the priests who will receive episcopal consecration on July 1 at Écône.
The dossiers of these priests were sent to Leo XIV.
The four priests are:
- Swiss Father Pascal Schreiber.
- American Father Michael Goldade.
- French Father Michel Poinsinet de Sivry.
- French Father Marc Hanappier.
Father Pascal Schreiber
Father Pascal Schreiber, 53, was born into a Catholic family of five children in Aargau, Switzerland. After entering the Herz Jesu Seminary in Zaitzkofen in 1992 and continuing his studies at Écône, he was ordained a priest in 1998. Following ministry in Germany and French-speaking Switzerland, he directed schools in Mels and Wil before serving at the Swiss District headquarters in Rickenbach, first as bursar and later as Swiss Superior. They seem to be very good Priest. Let's pray they remain strong and spread the Truth. And help make many people Holy. I was also hoping there would be more. I was hoping they would choose a Priest at my Church who I love very much. He says a beautiful Mass and he is a very good Priest. He is half Iranian. But those men are whom GOD chose. And there is a reason for everything.

Only four? Yikes.
I'd very much like TLM to be more convenient for me. It will require many more SSPX priests to make The Latin Mass available and convenient for the Church.
Fr. Goldade is the rector at the SSPX's US Seminary. Fr. Hannapier also teaches there. Notably, there is no Spaniard.
May Our Lord and Our Lady protect and strengthen them for this task and make them faithful shepherds who can stand firm against the wolves in the sin-nodal false church! Let us all keep them in our prayers - and the entire FSSPX - it is the hope for the ongoing existence of the Catholic Faith!
