Worse Than Germany: Twelve Italian Bishops Lead Homosexual "Vigils"

Two dozen of homosexual vigils are scheduled in Italian dioceses for May and June, reports LaNuovaBq.it on May 8.

A record number of twelve Italian bishops are presiding over or attending these "vigils," which aim to "overcome homotransphobia." In 2025, only five bishops participated in similar events.

The list for 2026 is as follows:

- Bishop Enrico Solmi of Parma, who presided over the "Prayer Vigil to Overcome Fear and Discrimination" on May 5;
- Bishop Antonio Napolioni of Cremona, who presided over a vigil at the Church of San Giuseppe (Cambonino) on May 8;
- Bishop Claudio Cipolla of Padua, who will participate in the rainbow vigil on May 15 at the Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Padua;
- Bishop Nicolò Anselmi of Rimini, on May 17;
- The Archbishop of Florence, Gherardo Gambelli, who will preside over the diocesan vigil on May 21 at the Maria Ausiliatrice parish in Novoli;
- The Bishop of Modena, Erio Castellucci, on May 21;
- The Bishop of Savona, Calogero Marino, on May 22;
- The bishop of Fano, Andrea Andreozzi, and the archbishop of Pesaro, Sandro Salvucci. They will gather at the San Paolo Apostolo church in Fano on May 29.
- The bishop of Verona, Domenico Pompili, on June 4;
- The archbishop of Bari, Giuseppe Satriano, on June 5;
- The bishop of Forlì, Livio Corazza, on June 5;

That is not all. Several additional bishops have not confirmed or publicly announced their participation.

Furthermore, various dioceses are involved in the organization, support, or patronage of these homosexual vigils.

Other dioceses involved include Como (May 10), Albano Laziale (May 16), Bolzano (May 16), Catania (May 17), Cosenza (May 17), Cuneo (May 18), Agrigento (May 19), Chiavari (May 20), Milan (May 22), Bologna (May 29), and Bergamo (June 5).

Overall, at least 23 dioceses are actively involved in promoting these homosexual vigils, including the Archdiocese of Bologna, led by Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Italian Episcopal Conference.

The list of events organized by individual churches, parishes, and monasteries is considerably longer.

In October 2025, the Italian bishops' conference published a document encouraging support for such vigils.

They brazenly promote sodomy in Italy because they know that there is no Bishop of Rome, but rather one of their own usurping the Chair of Peter.
Saint Paul teaches in Romans 1:32 that those who promote sodomy are sodomites.

Those who knew by the law of nature that God requires righteousness realized that these things were displeasing to God, but they did not want to think about it, because those who do such things are worthy of death, and not only those who do them but those who allow them to be done, for consent is participation. Their wickedness is double, for those who do such things but prevent others are not so bad, because they realize that these things are evil and do not justify them. But the worst people are those who do these things and approve of others doing them as well, not fearing God but desiring the increase of evil. They do not seek to justify them either, but in their case it is because they want to persuade people that there is nothing wrong in doing them. Commentary on Paul’s Epistles

And therefore the laws not only of the Church, but of the world, condemn those who are guilty of this crime; and not only those indeed who actually conspire, but those also who take part with such.

With this fixation on homo, let's tell it like it is, if you are a bishop or a Cardinal and you are not speaking out publicly against it, then it can only mean one thing.... you yourself are a HOMO.

Likewise, Pope Saint Leo the Great affirmed that whoever sees another in error and fails to correct him bears witness against himself—for he himself becomes an error, inasmuch as he participates in that sin.
God punishes the one who sins, the one who induces another to sin, and the accomplices in that sin.

It's just constant homo homo homo. SSPX needs to consecrate 100 Bishops.

The whole Church is swallowed up in a 💩storm of sodomy.

Italy always seemed more traditional and orthodox but is has always been a disguise.

Fortunately they have many priests who are "excommunicated" as Italy is ground zero where the battle for truth ripples out to the rest of the world. So the people at least can be informed on the issues, if they want to be. Fr. Santonocito, Don Alessandro Minutella, Fr. Leonardo Ricotta, Fr. Leonardo Maria Pompei, Fr. Romano Guidetti, Fr. Giorgio Maria Faré and many others who teach orthodox faith, or question the validity of Pope Benedict's so-called abdication (big discussion there since the release of The Ratzinger Code by Andrea Cionci) are kicked out of the Synodal Church.

Just preach on mortal sin, it’s effects, consequences and the necessity of God’s mercy in confession, where you will find real sacrificing love.
