Gregory DiPippo argues that Vatican II’s liturgy constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium was effectively nullified not by neglect but by its early misapplication. He identifies the 1964 decree Inter Oecumenici—especially its promotion of Mass versus populum—as introducing changes never envisioned by the constitution itself. DiPippo contends that subsequent “conciliar reforms,” exemplified by recent experimental reordering of Mantua Cathedral, falsely claim fidelity to the Council while betraying its intent. He concludes that decades of such reinterpretations make it impossible to recover what the Council actually taught, and calls on Church leaders to acknowledge this failure.
Sacrosanctum Concilium was not "misapplied" as it had been written in a way allowing to apply it in whatever way revolutionaries wanted. It is quite grotesque to talk about "nullifying" or "killing" the document that was a mere, temporary jumping point for the further progressive leap. Come on, that document was dead as a dodo the very moment they voted for it. Too progressive to protect the liturgy and too conservative for the progressist lobby. Later events only confirmed the above. As "indultists" often miss reality they are cultivating the myth of good and salutary "Sacrosanctum Concilium" - actually, the document that had brought no good whatsoever in the field of the Catholic liturgy.
Should Traditional Catholics Hold A Council To Elect A Pope? Bishop Roy Joins Stephen Kokx It's time to consider this, Bishop Roy says. His Excellency Bishop Pierre Roy joins the program for an hour and a half to discuss the possibility of holding an “imperfect council” to elect a Traditional pope. Source: WATCH: Should Trad Clergy Elect Their Own Pope?
God has a plan. It is written in Daniel chapter 9 (and Jeremiah before that). There will be 70 years of the foreign occupation. Then there will be a restoration. The beginning of the period ties in with the failure to announce the Third Secret to Fatima in 1960. A different path was chosen by those in control of the Church at that time. That different path is now seen to culminate in apostasy Synodality and the anti-papacies of Bergoglio and Prevost. Very soon God will intervene. His ways are not our ways. Read your Bible and the Church Fathers on end times prophecy to understand the big picture. Bishop Roy is wrong to think a Pope needs to be elected in an irregular way by Trads. Do not fall for it. Watch and pray.
Angelo Gugel, the longtime papal valet who worked for three popes, has died in Rome at the age of 90, reports Vatican media. Appointed in 1978 by John Paul I, the “33-day pope,” Gugel went on to serve John Paul II throughout his nearly 27-year pontificate. He retired at the beginning of the papacy of Benedict XVI, at the age of 70. Known for his immaculate appearance, he preserved strict discretion even after retirement. From the Gendarmerie to the Papal Household Born on 27 April 1935 in Miane, in Italy’s Veneto region, Gugel joined the Vatican Gendarmerie at the age of 20. After a serious bout of tuberculosis, he was transferred to the administration of the Vatican City State. Albino Luciani, his former bishop in Vittorio Veneto and a family acquaintance, personally chose him as valet after being elected pope. When John Paul I died unexpectedly on 28 September 1978, Gugel was among the few people present in the papal bedroom. At the Pope’s Side Around the World Gugel accompanied John …Caman

Lorica of St Fursey (or Fursa) The Lorica of St Fursa dates from the early seventh century and is still a popular prayer in Ireland. The original text of the Fursey Lorica is held in the British Library. The translation, from Old Irish and German, was made by Fr Francis Mullaghy CSSR and Fr Richard Tobin CSSR, for use in St Joseph's Monastery, Dundalk, County Louth. This Lorica translation is quoted by John Ó Ríordáin and begins: The arms of God be around my shoulders, The touch of the Holy Spirit upon my head, The sign of Christ’s cross upon my forehead, The sound of the Holy Spirit in my ears
The Lie: Carnal Desire & Pleasure Are "Beautiful Natural Gifts of GOD, Implanted in Human Nature From Creation" Hear me, brethren, and tremble! Do not be deceived by what the world calls natural! Do not be seduced by what men call a blessing! The measure of true humanity is Christ the Lord! The standard of human life is the Blessed Virgin, preserved from all stain from the first instant of her conception! He took flesh—yet no concupiscence stirred in Him! She bore Him—yet no wound of desire touched her womb or her heart! Behold, brethren! In the New Adam and the New Eve, we see what humanity was made to be: virginity, continence, and purity of body and soul—this is the natural state of man! Not concupiscence! Not carnal pleasure! Christ reveals it by nature assumed; the Virgin confirms it by grace preserved. Carnal desire is not a natural gift from the Creator, but a consequence of fallen nature. Carnal pleasure is not a blessing of God! They are the wound of the Fall, a rebellion of …Caman
The Holy Door at Saint Peter's Basilica was sealed on January 16. Vatican craftsmen closed the door from the inside using 3,200 bricks. The door will remain closed until the next Jubilee.
“This was the level of dictatorship that we had here in Rome. Many of the Swiss guards left rather than take the vaccine,” Thomas said. “And quite rightly so, because in 2008, Pope Benedict listed ‘seven new sins.’ One of those had to do with genetic modification and genetic engineering of the human person, the injection of experimental drugs (into) the human person.” Read all: WATCH: Pope Leo’s former classmate denounces … Click on the picture if you cannot see all content.

The Truth will out! I went to visit a friend in a nursing home 0.recently and was told in advance that many residents "had COVID" I dreaded having to wear a mask or be quizzed about booster shots of the vax [which I've taken NONE], but was pleasantly surprised it was business as usual. No restrictions and all & staff were NOT masked or doing anything not of the ordinary!
"Why would you want someone else's Nobel Prize?" Q: "Yesterday, you accepted Maria Machado's Nobel Prize medal. What do you intend to do with it? Why would you want someone else's Nobel Prize?" Trump: "Well, she offered it to me...I thought it was a very nice gesture." Full video here: c-span.org/…nt/pres-trump-leaves-for-palm-beach- … A reporter confronted Trump Friday afternoon over his acceptance of a gift award that he did not win, asking “Why would you want somebody else’s Nobel Prize?” Trump has been foreshadowing that he would be honored to accept the Nobel Peace Prize from 2025 recipient María Corina Machado. After reporting that suggested her failure to refuse the prize contributed to Trump’s decision not to support her, Machado told Sean Hannity she’d love to give her award to the president. Machado and Trump closed the deal on Thursday at the White House, although the honor that goes with the award is non-transferable. The president took questions from reporters …Caman
Has Machado’s Nobel Prize, but Neither Got What They Really Wanted nytimes.com/…6/01/16/us/politics/trump-machado- … President Trump has María Corina Machado’s medal, but he is not recognized as the prize laureate. Ms. Machado did not win Mr. Trump’s endorsement to become Venezuela’s president. Ever since President Trump first took office in 2017, he has been obsessed with the Nobel Peace Prize, and has made no effort to hide his deep sense of injustice that President Barack Obama won it in 2009 for, in the eyes of the Nobel committee, his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” Mr. Trump has a different view, which he offered in an interview with The New York Times last week: Mr. Obama “was there for a few weeks, and he got it. He didn’t even know why he got it.” Mr. Trump then recited the now-familiar list of “eight wars” he claims to have stopped. All this culminated on Thursday afternoon in a bizarre scene in a White House …Caman
I have seen and testified January 18 - Second Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, John the Baptist, in the passage from the Gospel of St. John the Apostle that we’re going to listen to on Sunday, January 18, helps us better understand the beautiful mission of us Christians in the world. First of all, we must "see," with the "eyes" of faith, God's love for us in the Risen Jesus, present through His Holy Catholic Church, in His Word, in His Sacraments, especially in the Holy Eucharist. Regarding the encounter with God in His Word, Pope Leo in his catechesis on Wednesday, January 14, pointing to the DEI VERBUM, as one of the most beautiful and important documents of the Second Vatican Council, recalls that its purpose is to nourish the New Testament hope in the God who makes us children and calls us to become like Him even though in our fragile humanity. That's why the Pope invites us to cultivate friendship with God by listening to His Word and through liturgical, communal …Caman
Fri Jan 16, 2026 - 12:04 pm EST (LifeSiteNews) — On Thursday, January 22, the day before the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., Rescue Resurrection participants will gather outside Health and Human Services (HHS) headquarters at 200 Independence Ave SW to call on federal leadership — including Secretary Kennedy and the Trump administration — to take decisive action to restrict and ultimately ban the abortion pill. Many pro-life icons will be participating, and your presence is needed as well. “The pro-life movement in America is hanging by a thread, as far as having true political power to end the killing,” Randall Terry, Rescue Resurrection’s founder, told LifeSiteNews in a series of exclusive interviews. “The only thing that can turn that around is ‘social tension,’” he explained. “There’s no other blueprint or playbook in American and world history where you can presume that the powerful will roll over for the weak.” Terry should know. An independent investigation has documented decades of spiritual abuse, psychological control, and systemic governance failures within the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre. The contemplative community is based at the Sacré-Cœur of Paris, France. Background and timeline The congregation, founded in the late 19th century in connection with the national vow and devotion to the Sacred Heart, is dedicated to liturgical prayer, perpetual adoration, and the reception of pilgrims at the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. In June 2021, the congregation initiated an internal review. In 2022, former members were formally included in the process. In February 2023, the sisters publicly acknowledged serious internal abuses, issued an apology, and requested an external investigation. The independent report, completed after 18 months of work, was published in January 2026. Scope of the investigation The commission conducted 159 interviews with current sisters, former members, priests, bishops …Caman
These “independent commissions” do not understand the meaning of suffering, sacrifice, and self-denial, and call all of this “abuse of power.” It is entirely in line with the post-conciliar church, which is trying to eliminate the cross from Christ's message.
